What is GitHub Galaxy?
GitHub Galaxy is a regionalized event for GitHub's enterprise and mid-market customers.
Galaxy starts with four days of virtual activities including a keynote broadcast, fireside chats, forums, and experiences.
After the virtual event, there will be in-person VIP summits in select cities.
When is Galaxy taking place?
Virtual: The Galaxy virtual event starts on Tuesday, March 28 through Friday, March 31.
VIP summits: We will be taking Galaxy on the road with global VIP summits in select cities April - June.
Who is Galaxy for?
Galaxy is for GitHub's enterprise and mid-market customers.
What can I expect at Galaxy?
During the virtual program, you can expect a global keynote on March 28 followed by fireside chat and forum sessions from March 29-31.
The fireside chats are moderated panel conversations with GitHub customers who are leading the way in their industries.
The forums are topical roundtable conversations with GitHub subject matter experts, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and gain learnings from peers.
What's the difference between InFocus and Galaxy?
Galaxy is a reimagined event program based on the foundation of GitHub InFocus.
The main difference between InFocus and Galaxy are the in-person VIP summits that we will be hosting this year that were not included in our existing GitHub InFocus program.
Are there sponsorship opportunities for Galaxy?
There are no sponsorship opportunities at this time.

Is this event invite-only?
For the virtual event, we welcome all attendees. The VIP Summits will be invite-only.
How do I cancel my registration for Galaxy?
There's no need to cancel your registration if you're unable to attend live. We'll send you the on-demand sessions afterward.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I am unable to attend?
There's no need to cancel your registration. If you're unable to attend and want to have someone attend in your place, please send them the link to register.

What time does Galaxy content start?
The global keynote broadcast will start on March 28 at 9:30am PT. The sessions to follow will be hosted on March 29-31 at various times based on the days you registered for.
Will content be available to rewatch at a later time?
Yes, all virtual sessions will be recorded and posted on-demand to the Galaxy site and the GitHub YouTube channel.

I am attending Galaxy virtually, do I need to register?
Yes, you'll need to register for the sessions you're interested in. Please see the register button and select the days you wish to join. The only aspect of the program you do not need to register for is the global keynote on March 28.
When will I get my link for Galaxy so I can attend virtually?
Email confirmations with calendar holds will be sent upon registering. Each session will have its own designated link to join.
Will I have the opportunity to interact with others and ask questions during the virtual programming?
Yes, both the fireside chats and forums will give you an opportunity to ask questions and interact with both the speakers and other attendees.
